Recently I was asked by one of Mymompreneurs who I would suggest for affordable business cards and marketing materials. Typically I try to make recommendations for local businesses and/or women owned businesses. But for the new business owner who is trying to create a presence with starter marketing materials you can’t go wrong with Vista Print.

What do I like about them? Well, if you’re not already familiar with Vista Print’s ads to get 250 business cards for free you should be. You should note that these are templates so you may run into someone else who has buisness cards that look exactly like your own. However, if you’re still looking for the budget to have logos  and custom artwork created this is a great temporary solution.

When I first started my business I checked out Vista Print’s 250 free business card deal. I wasn’t crazy about the templates so I opted for the upgrade. This cost me three dollars and some change to get a glossy finish and a design that I was happy with. Another thing to note is that though the business cards are free, shipping is NOT. Ok, well I guess they have to make their money somewhere. That being said, I still didn’t pay more than $20 for 250 business cards.

Vista Print has a plethera of products outside of the buiness cards. Once I was added to their mailing list I receive weekly specials for other products I can get for very little money. This week I am taking advantage of their special for standard postcards. Through Sunday I can order 100 postcards for free! Again, I’m sure I’ll upgrade (and I’m sure they expect this) but I will still get some great hand out material for very little money. I’ve even orded T-Shirts with my company logo on them! Other products include pens, mousepads, calendars, and even car door signs.

I’m not an affiliate with Vista Print, so you can be assured that this is just my opinion. There are several other companies that offer similar products and discounts.
